Mr. Soberg is a Special Education Teacher and School Board member with Gateway STEM Academy. He has an M.A. in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and has experience teaching abroad and working with many different English language learners. Mr. Soberg is a strong advocate of community service, serving two years in AmeriCorps and working closely with various non-profits that help build stronger communities and improve the quality of education within struggling neighborhoods. His hobbies include traveling, hiking, kayaking, reading sci-fi and fantasy books, video games, movies, and taking his dog on long walks while listening to his favorite podcasts.
